In fact this mic has so much gain that you can plug an earphone into your recorder and listen in real time to simulate a sound amplifier better than most of them on the market.

Comes with a 3 volt Lithium battery that will provide over 100 hours of power to the pen. All you need is your own recorder with a 3.5mm mic jack to use this product.
